It's not right but it's okay | Brexit

What is the job of a blogger? Well at least to build an unreal social media world of perfection. You always wear the newest designer clothes, eat the most fancy dishes and fly all around the world to discover breathtaking locations. That is only one side of the coin. At least we blogger have the same daily struggles like all people. For me it is also very important to talk about non superficial & important topics which influence the life of all people. No fashion trend will heal HIV, no organic food will turn economic crisis into a boom and no beauty product will keep us save from radicalism.
As I woke up yesterday morning I looked on my mobile phone and was extremely shocked about the news I read. The United Kingdom decided to leave the European community. Especially for me it was pretty tough because I always wanted to work in London in the future, so my plans moved further into the distance.
Our lifes will change a lot. It's not that easy anymore to fly to London for a weekend trip, student exchange programs between the UK and European countries will be shut, London can't be the financial capital of Europe anymore and besides there will be customs again.
For me it's very hard to imagine a Europe without the UK. But yesterday showed us all how important it is to stand together and to be united. At least it is a step back in the progress to loose all geographic borders between the countries but we have to accept the will of the British people. After this final decision there is no way back for the UK in the EU.
I really hope that this won't lead to unexpected disasters for Europe or the UK. But this can't be said now.

Like Imagine Dragons sang: "It's gotta get easier and easier somehow, but not today".

Cheers,
Marc

  1. Hey Marc, I do not see any arguments why the UK should of stay in the EU. You can still travel there student or not as per usual since they are still members for the next two years. If you want to go get a job there and then get a residence permit there is still time. As for the UK being the financial capital.. You do know Brussels has control over the European Central Bank which is getting threatened by a literal bio weapon called migrants in order to extract money which EU members pay for. By leaving the union, the British people have saved themselves from paying Greece to not unleash the horde or when Turkey joins they will not have to worry about the 12.5 million Turkish students that wish to move there and whom the majority wish for an islamic theocracy.
