Indian Summer | Es ist Herbst. Die Blätter färben sich orange und fallen von den Bäumen. Mit dem Wechsel der Jahreszeit habe ich mir ausführlich Gedanken gemacht über den Blog. Ich habe mir jetzt eine lange Auszeit aufgrund meines Examens gegönnt und versuche jetzt mein Bestmöglichstes um die Plattform und meinen Instagram Feed wieder zu pflegen. Dabei habe ich versucht mich neu inspirieren zu lassen.

Shearling | Fall is here and I am back again! The last month became even harder than I thought. I got ill and my final exams started in August. Three month later and after 13 of 16 exams, (still not healthy) I thought it is time for a sign of life.
I did a lot of online shopping during my learning sessions so there are several pieces I'm going to show you in the next upcoming blogposts.

Today I wanted to start with one of the biggest trends for the fall/winter season. It is Shearling!
Shearling jackets are perfect for the cold time of the year, because of their inner linings. Besides it's a good investment because those jackets become more and more expensive every year. Some of those are even more expensive than fur coats.
If you don't want to spend so much money in a jacket there are severeal "fake" shearling jackets available at Zara & H&M.

I looked for ages to find the perfect one for me. I always wanted a cognac colored one with a slim fit and about a month ago I found it. It was love at first sight! My visa card suffered the last month a lot!

Cartier | After I destoryed my old glasses I had to look for an alternativ and thought about some retro ones.  When I talked to my parents they said there is only one option: Cartier.
The next day I had 2 Cartier spectacle frames on my desk (big thanks to my parents and my grandma).
Both were Retro Cartier de Santos frames from the 80ies. On the pictures above and below I wear the bigger frame which was remodeled into sunnies 2 weeks ago by my favourite optican at the Königsallee. (soon on here as well)

Personal | This is a very personal post. A lot of you asked me why I did not post anything the last three weeks. The reason why was a pretty tough illness. First I just thought that it was a simple tonsilitis but very soon my situation got worse.
I'm very sorry that I didn't answer any questions but thank you for all your support and messages I got on Instagram.
I'm still feeling very weak and the worst thing was that the doctor told me that she would advise me not to participate in this years state examination.
This was the point when I was really upset and told myself to do everything to become healthy again as quickly as possible. So I stayed in bed for about two weeks in a row. I took a lot of medicine and went to the medical center to get infusions.
On saturday after four weeks of illness I tried to go out for about some hours. The next day the fever came back and my throat was swollen again so I had to feed myself with soup (had soup for about 2 weeks in a row). This leeded to more weight loss so that I only had 59kg.
So now I'm still working on getting healthy again even when the doctor told me that it can last about half a year. What a delightful prospect.

But these days also let me think about the situation. Healthiness is a gift! Even when my illness isn't life-threatening I esteem it now more than ever. You feel helpless and you can't do anything to make it better. You have to believe in the immune system of your body and the modern medicine. That's an awkward feeling! So enjoy every single day of health! It's a gift which is forgotten until you lose it.

I keep fighting and I'm not giving up on my state exmanination! That is for sure! Even when my body is weak my mind is even stronger!

Sebago | My friends from Sebago send me over this super cool new pair of pennyloafers. This time I tried to combine them in a more casual way with a leatherjacket and some statement pants.
I already have this pair in brown and I have to admit they became my all time favorite last year.
They are super comfortable and they are super versatile in combination with jeans or in more chic combination.

Retro | Just a quick update. Sorry for be so quite at the moment. I'm super busy because of my upcoming examination and my tonsillitis. I really don't know what to do first. Keep your fingers crossed!
