Camden Town: Craziness & Art & Style

10:29

Dear Gentlemen,

this is crazy Camden Town.
Camden Town is famous for it's craziness and mixture of  little faction and vintage shops.
When you are walking down the street from the tube station to Camden Lock
you feel like in a another world.

There are so many impressions that you get during the time, that you can't remember all things.
Besides Camden is also well known for it's cool house fronts.
My favorites are the one with the Converse chucks upon it.
Camden is also a hot spot for very creative people and artists.

This part of London also stays alive because of it's culture clash.
On every corner you can buy foreign food: Chinese, British, Indish, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Spanish .... e.t.c

The first time I came here I had a cultural shock !
But after a little time you are ready to discover all these special shops and streets.
My absolute favorite place in Camden is the canal area.
At night all lights are on and you can sit next to the canal and relax.
It's totally awesome and an extreme contrast to my daily life in the office.

Another thing you have to mention if you are talking about Camden is naturally Street-Art.
Above you can see a little collection of the "paintings" in Camden Town / London.
Especially Banksy is one of the most famous street artist in the world and a lot of his works are directly in the town of London like the handmaid and the palace guard.
In the time of the Olympics you also found a lot of caricatures about it on London walls.
It's not a secret, but nobody knows here in Germany, that especially the people in London were bothered by the Olympic Games, because the traffic was worse and it was louder than before in the British capital.
And now the Paralympics started in London, so I'm wishing good luck!

What I never would forget when talking about Camden is: STYLE
Above you can see an outfit, which would be perfectly fit into Camden Town, because it's casual and a little rocky.

1. Silver Metal Aviator Sunglasses by Tom Ford

2. Grey Trilby Hat by Paul Smith

3. Black Vintage Lambskin Biker Jacket by Each Other

4. Black Carbon Garment-Dyed T-Shirt by American Vintage

5. Blue Graphite Coated Five-Pockets Jeans by Marc Jacobs

6. Black Glazed Leather Lace-Up Boots by Marc Jacobs

7. Olive Canvas New Messenger Bag by Polo Ralph Lauren

I really like this style when I'm not working or have meetings.
This year there was nobody who could take photos of me so I like to show
you my Camden outfit from February 2012.
During this time it was a little cold in Camden, so I decided to take ...

1. Blue Bonnet by Polo Ralph Lauren

2. Golden Metal Aviator Sunglasses by Carrera

3. Khaki silk/cashmere paisley scarf by Edsor Kronen

4. Dark blue down jacket with fox fur by Blauer

5. Dark Blue cardigan with horn buttons by Polo Ralph Lauren

6. Electric blue shirt by Gucci

7. Black belt with golden "H" buckle by Hermès

8. Khaki used chino by CLOSED

9. Black calf-leather Sneakers by TOD'S

10. Damier Ebene Messenger Brooklyn GM by Louis Vuitton

I would say, make your own impressions and go to Camden Town.
You shouldn't miss!

Yours faithfully,
The Gentleman
